 Rana is Saifi's founder and head instructor. She began teaching Arabic to foreigners in 2002 and opened Saifi Institute in 2008. She is passionate about the Arabic language and hopes to keep it alive and growing by fusing it with the language of everyday life. This mission is embodied in her curriculum called Urban Arabic.
She enjoys entertaining friends, "drinking" argileh, and listening Abdel Halim Hafez.

 Nada has been teaching people to speak Lebanese and to read Arabic newspapers since 2003. She graduated from Lebanese University in Arabic Linguistics. She loves the interesting connections between Fous7a (MSA) and Urban Arabic, and plans on pursuing a Masters in linguistics some day.
Nada (or "Nadoosh"), is married and getting ready to move into her new house... she is the sensitive and generous one at Saifi.

 Sara has been teaching with Rana at Saifi Institute since the opening day in August 2008. She has a BA and and MA in Arabic Literature from Lebanese University.
Sara also coaches basketball with GAM3. She was born in 1981 in Beirut, and enjoys witting poetry, romantic music, and basketball. She also has a special belief in "A7iba2i"...

 Nazih (call him: Zouz) is the Saifi office manager, and teaches private classes. He comes from a long line of Dirani Arabic teachers, and is adding his own style to what he learned from his sisters. Nazih will most likely be in the office to greet you when you arrive.
He has been working on apartment listings in Beirut, so ask if you are looking for a place to stay. Nazih is also a student at CNAM University in Beirut, and studies Economics and Business... and he's single ;) Contact Nazih at

 Mac is Rana's partner in business and in life.
He works behind the scenes on scheduling, curriculum, accounting and the website you are looking at now!
